FROM ONE IMAGE TO MANY
How to split your photo online
A few simple steps. A perfectly planned split.
01
Upload a panorama or carousel design
Choose one wide image containing the complete sequence. Keep important text away from the planned slide boundaries.
02
Set the number and shape of your slides
Choose 2–10 slides and a 1:1, 4:5, or 3:4 aspect ratio. Fill the canvas with a crop or preserve the whole photo with a background.
03
Save your numbered Instagram carousel
Check the swipe preview, generate the slides, and download them in left-to-right order. Use the included ZIP guide when posting.
A LITTLE INSPIRATION
Split a panorama into seamless Instagram carousel slides
A carousel splitter cuts a single composition along consistent vertical boundaries. Adjacent slides share the same scale, so a horizon, product, or illustration continues naturally across the sequence. Start with a high-resolution design wide enough for your selected slide count.
At a 1080-pixel tile width, square slides are 1080 × 1080, 4:5 slides are 1080 × 1350, and 3:4 slides are 1080 × 1440. A three-slide 4:5 sequence uses a 3240 × 1350 canvas. The preview shows the composition before download; enlarging a small source cannot restore lost detail.
MADE TO BE PRACTICAL
Adjust a carousel crop without breaking the image flow
Crop to fill removes edges beyond the selected canvas. Fit with background preserves the full image and fills spare space with your chosen color. Zoom and horizontal or vertical position controls let you place the subject across the entire sequence rather than cropping each slide independently.
BUILT AROUND YOUR PRIVACY
Download carousel images in left-to-right posting order
Carousel slides are read from first to last. Select the numbered files in ascending order when creating the post. This differs from a profile mosaic, whose newest post can appear first. Preview the draft in your destination app before publishing.
This tool creates 2–10 image slides from one source. Set the slide count before choosing the crop. The output count is shown next to the preview.
What is the best image size for a three-slide carousel?
+
For three 1080-pixel-wide slides at a 4:5 ratio, prepare a 3240 × 1350 image. Use 3240 × 1080 for square slides, or choose another ratio and use the displayed canvas dimensions.
Will there be a gap between my carousel slides?
+
The exported files meet at calculated boundaries without an added gap. The platform may draw its own spacing or crop in the interface; review the uploaded draft before posting.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
+
No. The image tools read and process your selected file inside your browser. Your image is not sent to an image-processing server. Closing the page clears the working image from memory.
Which image formats can I split?
+
Open JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and other image formats your browser can decode. Download PNG for lossless graphics and transparency, or JPG and WebP for compressed photos. Animated inputs export as a still frame.
Can I download all the split images at once?
+
Yes. Generate your tiles, download individual pieces, or save the complete set in a ZIP file. Tiles have numbered filenames so you can keep their order.
